Water

It’s highly recommended when holidaying in the tropics to boil your drinking water. (Your stomach is not used to local waters)

Rarotonga’s water supply comes straight from the mountains and doesn’t have any chemicals added to it, but some people may suffer an upset stomach by drinking it unboiled. After boiling a kettle of water please let it cool down before pouring it into a clean bottle and put into the refrigerator.

Botteled water is affordable and provided by local suppliers. Remember that it is recommended to drink up to two liters per day in the tropics. You can always get yourself a coconut nu from the trees around you. One of our staff can show you how to open it ;-)
